If you died today, where would you go? Not sure? Well, you can be! You can start by reading the following verses:
Do you believe you are a sinner? Romans 3:23 – “for ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
What is the consequence of that sin? Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death, BUT the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
What does Jesus say? John 3:3 – “Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
John 14:6 – Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
What can be done about our sin? Romans 10:9-11 – “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says: “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.”
Will you live for Him? 2 Corinthians 5:15 – “and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.”
Will you let Him in? Revelation 3:20 – “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will dine with him, and he with Me.”
Are you ready to invite Jesus into your life and into your heart? If so, pray this prayer…
Heavenly Father, I have sinned against You. I want forgiveness of all my sins. I believe Jesus died on the cross for me and rose again. Father, I give You my life to do as You wish. I want Jesus Christ to come into my life and into my heart. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
